Vinimanta is crucial in the biodigestion process and for waterproofing slurry lagoons. It's installed in soil excavations and on the walls and bottoms of the biodigester. It lines the slurry lagoon that receives effluents, preventing soil contamination. A slurry lagoon with Sansuy's Vinimanta means eliminating erosion, less impact on neighboring properties, and greater peace of mind when irrigating various crops.
Lagoons and irrigation canals
This material is recommended for waterproofing channels that are mechanically protected with concrete. Examples include channels like: Transposição do São Francisco, Cinturão das Águas, Canal do Salitre, Pontal Sul, Jaíba, Formoso A, and Formoso H. PVC is ideal for this application due to its perfect flatness. Another characteristic of this material is its excellent adherence to concrete, even allowing for work with a higher slump (softer concrete). For these applications, we can custom-manufacture the material, enabling user installation for smaller units.
Aquaculture
With a strong focus on aquaculture, Sansuy presents an integrated system for raising aquatic organisms in tanks or excavated ponds, which are then covered and waterproofed with Vinimanta. This is a geomembrane, a PVC liner designed to prevent water loss due to infiltration in tanks, reservoirs, ponds, and intensive aquatic organism production units.
Features
Made from a compound of PVC, additives, plasticizers, and stabilizers, which gives it particular properties of flexibility and resistance, Vinimanta is suitable for waterproofing reservoirs and as a barrier against infiltration and loss of water or organic waste. For aquaculture, it's supplied with a specific formulation for the production of aquatic organisms. Vinimanta is fabricated in panels or modules, as detailed in the executive projects, developed for each application with the aim of reducing on-site welding operations, minimizing installation time and labor costs. Vinimanta can also be supplied with an attached non-woven geotextile, ensuring greater mechanical resistance to perforations and soil imperfections, and greater dimensional stability.
